Since 1963, the Boys and Girls Club of Durham (formerly Eastview Boys and Girls Club) has provided recreational and social development programs in Durham and has grown into one of the Region’s most established and effective youth serving organizations. With a membership that currently exceeds 1000 children, we are pleased to provide fully equipped facilities to match our wide range of quality programs.
The Boys and Girls Club of Durham is one of many clubs across the country that offers youth, ages 4 to 18 years, an opportunity to belong to a place that is just for their own benefit. As of September 2013, there are twenty locations throughout the Durham Region that offer our After School Programs.
Our club offers not just fun/interactive activities; we aim to meet the needs of our membership through various workshops, and programs focusing on issues that are present concerns of children and youth in our community.
The Boys and Girls Club of Durham is here for you and your children. We are a positive place for kids! We open everyday after school and offer day camps in the summer, and during the holiday season and March Break. With the safe and healthy environment provided by our Club, our members can expect an atmosphere where they can learn, participate and grow.
We encourage and support our club members as they strive to reach their full potential. We are sensitive to the fact that all children have unique personalities and that development stages may differ. We are certain that you will be pleased with the quality care they will receive from our caring, enthusiastic staff.
Many thanks to City of Oshawa, the United Way, Town of Ajax, the Durham District School Board, the Trillium Foundation, RBC Foundation, the Ontario Ministry of Tourism, Culture & Sport and to all our supporters.
We rely on the community for grants and donations to help us with our work. Our Registered Charitable Number is 12506 4428 RR 0001
