Northview Unit Summer Day Camps - Ages 4 to 15

8:30am to 4:00pm

Members: $125/per week ($110 for the 4-day week)
Non Member: $145/per week ($125 for the 4-day week)
Campers will receive a camp t-shirt during their first week of camp.

Rookie Camp
Ages 4-5

Each week is designed for our younger campers who are looking to use their imagination and build friendships, incorporating weekly themes through crafts, creative activities, games, water play, exploration, storytelling, songs and lots of fun! This is a great transition for younger campers before they hit the "big time" at Funseekers Camp!

Weekly Rookie Themes

July 3rd to 7th - Captain Canuk to the Rescue
July 10th to 14th - Canada's Birthday Kerfuffle
July 17th to 21st - Hodgepodge of Ehs, Bs and Cs
July 24th to 28th - Beavers, Buffalo and Bobcats
July 31st to Aug 4th - Bigfoot and Friends
August 8th to 11th - Canadian Critters
*civic holiday (4-day week)
August 14th to 18th - The Inuksuk Nook
August 21st to 25th - Little Canadians, Big Dreams

Please note: Children registering for Rookie Camp must be four (4) years of age on or before the first day of camp of the first week they are registered for. NO Exceptions

Funseeker Camp 
Ages 6-12

Campers will be divided into age appropriate groups. Funseeker Camp is great for campers who want to have a ton of fun! Campers will participate in many fun and exciting activities highlighted around the weekly theme. Daily activities will be packed with fun opening and closing activity circles, creative arts and crafts, games room, gym, computers, outdoor play, special events and activities, as well as weekly camp outings. The Northview Unit includes weekly day trips which are included with camp fees.

July 3rd to 7th - Alpha Flight and other Canadian Superheroes (NEBs Fun World)
July 10th to 14th - Oot and A-Boot: Canada's Birthday Adventure (Cobourg Beach)
July 17th to 21st - Kaleidoscope of Cultures (6-10 Jungle Cat World; 11+ Warsaw Caves)
July 24th to 28th - Beavertails, Toonies and Touques (Wet N' Wild)
July 31st to Aug 4th - Canadian Cryptids (Willow Park)
August 8th to 11th - Camp Canuk (Coachlite Rollergardens)
*civic holiday (4-day week)
August 14th to 18th - Igloos, Tipis and Wigwams (Cedar Park)
August 21st to 25th - Inventors, Eh? (Cobourg Beach)

Please note: Extra programming is not offered on trip days therefore there is a NO STAY BACK POLICY for all trip days. 

Teen Camp 
Ages 13-15

Beginning July 3rd we have eight weekly sessions geared specifically to Teen Campers. They consist of daily outings, weekly trips, sports, computers, interactive games and team building, special events, cooking and a weekly swim.

Note: Some trips or off-site outings may not be covered and campers will be expected to bring their own entrance fees and spending money. Based on registration and/or availability of venues schedules trips may be subject to change. Every effort will be made to inform campers in a timely manner. 12 year old campers will be accepted if they are turning 13 by December 31st, 2017.

Weekly Teen Camp Trips: 

July 3rd to 7th - Laser Tag and Cobourg Beach
July 10th to 14th - Sky Zone and Movies
July 17th to 21st - Warsaw Caves and Rock Climbing
July 24th to 28th - Wet N' Wild and Seaton Trail
July 31st to Aug 4th - Overnight Camping (2 nights)
August 8th to 11th - Escape Room and Willow Park
*civic holiday (4-day week)
August 14th to 18th - Wet N' Wild and Survival at the Lake
August 21st to 25th - Wonderland and Cobourg Beach

Note: On Tuesday August 22nd the Teen Adventure Camp will be travelling to Canada's Wonderland. The cost of this trip will be determined at a later date and will be subject to the number of participants attending. Your teen does not have to be registered in the final camp session to attend, however they must have attended at least one other session of camp.

Early Care and After Care
The Northview Unit offers extended supervision from 7:00am to 8:30am for Early Care for $5 a day per child and After Care from 4:00pm to 6:00pm for $5 a day per child. A nutritious breakfast will be served until 8:00am during Early Care. Early care and after care is a pre-registered program and payment is required at the start of the week.

Campers are expected to bring their own lunch, water bottle and sunscreen daily. It is recommended that campers wear footwear suitable for planned activities. Teen Campers will need a bathing suit and towel for their weekly swim. 

Deposit & Refund Policy
There is a non-refundable deposit of $30.00 per week, per child. A $10.00 charge will apply per child per session for any registration changes, cancellations, transfer or request for copy of registration for income tax purposes. All registration changes must be made in person. Refunds will not be issued with less than 14 days notice.
