March Break Camp

March Break Camps will run March 16th-20th, 2020 from 8:30am-4:00pm. 
Extended care available for an additional fee.

Boys and Girls Club of Durham's March Break Camp runs out of 3 locations!
- Eastview Unit at 433 Eulalie Avenue, Oshawa
- Northview Unit at 150 Beatrice Avenue, Oshawa
   
- Bolton C. Falby Public School at 80 Falby Court, Ajax

Registration will open January 20th. 

Eastview

*Hot dog lunch day is on Wednesday. Campers can buy a hot dog and a drink for $2 and an additional hot dog or drink can be bought for an extra $1.

Rookie Camp

Ages: 4-5
Theme: Animal Planet - Calling all party animals, you pick the days you want to come and play. Every day is themed around different animals and the beautiful planet that we live on. Campers should come each day with a
litterless lunch, indoor shoes, and extra clothes.

Fun Seeker Camp

Ages: 6-12
Theme: Fantastic Fun - you choose the theme days that you want to play. Don’t forget a swim suit and towel for Fun Swim (only for those ages 7 and up). Campers should come each day with a litterless lunch, and indoor shoes. 

  • March 16th Monday- Mad Science: What If? Why? How Come?? Bubbling, Fizzing and messy concoctions are always exciting. This is a day full of experiments and fun.
  • March 17th Tuesday- Pjamarama Day: It’s the biggest slumber party, you don’t want to miss it. Lots of party games, and fun activities planned. Don’t forget to wear your cozy Pj’s.
  • March 18th Wednesday- Game Show Mania: Classic game show fun with lots of activities to challenge your brain, try your luck at BGCD’s Wheel of Fortune, Trivia Contests and more!
  • March 19th Thursday- Snowball Bonanza: Get ready for the largest indoor snowball fight you’ve ever seen. Campers will have the chance to design, create and test a structure that will be able to hold up in the biggest indoor snowball fight in BGCD History!
  • March 20th Friday- Behind The Mic: Voice overs, weather forecasts, interviews, commercial jingles, and so much more. Have fun behind the mic in our in House Airways Music Studio. 3, 2, 1...You’re On the Air!

Specialty Camps

LEGO CREATIONS
Ages: 7-8
Description: This is the camp for campers who love Legos and love to create! Campers will let their imaginations run wild as they take part creating a variety of Lego projects each day. Create the fastest car, a strong spaceship, and much more! Campers should come each day with a litterless lunch, indoor shoes, and a swim suit and towel for daily Fun Swim.

DISCOVERY DEN
Ages: 7-8
Description: Discovery Den is an action packed camp filled with loads of activities that campers are going to want to try. Each day will be filled with adventure and opportunities for campers to discover new things in a hands-on way! Campers should come each day with a litterless lunch, indoor shoes, and a swim suit and towel for daily Fun Swim.

LET'S TALK DIGITAL
Ages: 9-12
Description: This camp is designed for the camper who want to learn more about digital media, and digital technologies in a safe and interactive way. Gear up to learn about social media and how technology is the way of the future. Campers should come each day with a litterless lunch, indoor shoes, and a swim suit and towel for daily Fun Swim.

HAMMER & NAILS
Ages: 9-12
Description: This camp is a great way for campers to build confidence and self-esteem by making small woodworking projects, DIY crafts and through hands on learning. Campers should come each day with a litterless lunch, indoor shoes, and a swim suit and towel for daily Fun Swim.

Northview

Rookie & Fun Seeker Camps

Ages: 4-12
Theme: The Art of Espionage - Secret Ages of the North - Come test your sleuthing, decoding, and finger printing skills as you embark on secret adventures and challenging obstacles all while becoming a Secret Agent of the North. Do you have what it takes to survive a week full of unknown surprises and mystery? Whether you are a mini or master agent, this camp is sure to be loads of fun.

Campers 4-12 will visit NEBs Fun World on Wednesday. Trip fee: $10.

Campers 7-12 will visit Eastview on Thursday for Fun Swim.

Bolton C Falby

Fun Seeker Camp

Ages: 6-12
Theme: All Around the World - Calling all world travelers, where do YOU want to travel? Every day we are going to explore a new country! Be prepared to explore the cultural experiences of Mexico, Australia, Italy, Greece and China. Camper will create a passport to get stamped at each new destination! Camper should come each day with litterless lunch, indoor shoes, and extra clothes.

  • March 16th Monday –Macarena through Mexico Monday. This is a day full of learning about Mexican culture! We’re going to cook a Mexican delicacy! Hasta luego!
  • March 17th Tuesday – Adventure through Australia. Kangaroo hop through our fun filled day of activities. We’re going to cook an Australian delicacy! It’ll be heaps of fun!
  • March 18th Wednesday – Immerse yourself in Italy. Enjoy our authentic pasta lunch while exploring the delicacies of Italian culture! See you in uno, due, tre!
  • March 19th Thursday – Take a glimpse into Greece. Where we will hang out with Caesar, and do what the Greeks do best! We’re going to cook a Greek delicacy!
  • March 20th Friday – Choose this day to explore China! Let’s make fortune cookies and climb the Great Wall Together! We’re going to cook a Chinese delicacy!

Woodworking

Extended Care is available:

Early Care: 
7:00am to 8:30am

After Care:
4:00pm to 6:00pm


Note: Extended care is a registered program.
Breakfast is served until 8am in early care.
