The Theft Prevention Program is offered in a series of four workshops, designed specifically for youth. The sessions are facilitated by Youth Workers who want to help youth learn and understand about the effects of theft including criminal records, peer pressure, strategies, etc.
The sessions include: understanding language around theft; building rapport; legal terms around theft; understanding how theft affects the individual, victims, bystanders, the community, etc.; being aware of peer pressure; developing good decision making skills; and preparing for the future (peer pressure)
This program will run online using Zoom and Google Classroom
